Karen trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her career as an actress and voice over artist has spanned TV, film, video games, animations, theatre, radio drama, musicals and commercials.
Her wide range of voice credits includes video games such as Total War: Hydrogen, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Watchdogs: Legion & Hitman 3, animation projects such as Warhammer Interrogator, TV campaigns for Hachette/Disney, documentaries including Witness to a Massacre - Nanjing 1937 and audio books such as Below the Green (children’s fantasy adventure series).
On screen, in 2026 Karen reprises her role as Mary Burkeman in series 2 of The Crow Girl on Paramount Plus, and will be seen as P.C. Kat Shaw in new series The Blame with Michelle Keegan on ITV. Other credits include FBI International, ITV’s Grace, W1A, Peep Show & Cuckoo.
She worked opposite Javier Bardem on the upcoming feature film Bunker for writer/director Florian Zeller.
Karen’s theatre work has taken her all over the UK and all over the world, including several West End shows and New York productions. Credits include playing Rufa Philby, the Russian wife of Cambridge spy Kim Philby in A Splinter of Ice, the misanthropic Patricia Highsmith in the powerful two-hander Switzerland and Gertrude in Hamlet, with Freddie Fox.
