Peter Bramhill

Peter Bramhill lives in London but hails from North Lincolnshire, where he grew up on a pig farm. His acting career started with a ‘high’ when he landed a part in the cult clubland classic Human Traffic whilst still training at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He then joined the first of many high-profile theatre shows – including seasons at The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).

With a natural ability for characters and accents, Peter has voiced scores of well-known video games, playing everything from world-weary evil masterminds to innocent young kings and foul-mouthed northern warrior heroes. Most notably, he voices the ongoing character Thancred Waters in the hugely-popular Final Fantasy XIV – ten years and counting.

An experienced and versatile voice performer, Peter has worked on a host of campaigns and promos with brands and channels including O2, MTV, Toyota, Discovery and National Geographic.

In the gaming world, Peter’s varied, character-driven delivery has earned him varied roles across a range of ages and styles, including Star Wars, Final Fantasy, Xenoblade Chronicles, Assassin’s Creed, The Witcher, Wuthering Waves and Dragon Age.

He also has a string of major TV and screen credits to his name and recent credits include Apple TV’s Foundation and Criminal Record, as well as in the Disney Plus drama Suspect. Other recent work includes I Came By (Netflix); Flowers in the Attic: Origins (Icon Films); Trying (Apple TV); Traces, Father Brown and Vexed (BBC); and Genius: Einstein (Fox21).

On the stage, Peter has been in an array of critically acclaimed productions, both classical and modern. He’s worked in London’s West End – and in theatres as far-flung as Australia and Japan – with companies including the RSC, Headlong, The Young Vic, Hampstead Theatre, The Royal Court and Regents Park.
