Ruth Evans

Ruth was born and bred on the Cheshire/Lancashire border and now lives in Yorkshire.  Her natural accent is thus generic Northern but can be adapted to a native Lancashire or Yorkshire as required.  Recent voiceover credits include a Saatchi and Saatchi promotion for Marie Curie called Whatever You Call It – Cash in my Chips which was broadcast on radio and Marie Curie shops. 

2020 TV credits include Coronation Street and Black Work for ITV and The Search for UFA Fiction.  Ruth has also recently appeared in Hollyoaks for Channel 4.    

Theatre includes extensive credits in her native North West including regular appearances in the award winning JB Shorts and 24:7 Festivals. She has appeared in plays at the Contact Theatre, Manchester on several occasions and at The Octagon Theatre, Bolton.

London theatre credits include appearances at The Old Red Lion, Landor Theatre, Union Theatre, Jerwood Space and Theatre 503.
