Angie is the first and only woman on London’s number one commercial radio station, Magic 105.4. She presents Mellow Magic every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night between 8pm and midnight, and regularly stands in for Danny Pietroni during the week nights.
Angie’s radio career began at Capital Radio when DJ David “Kid” Jensen coaxed her into the studio to do some voice overs. Between 1992 and 1997, Angie presented the 'Angie Greaves Breakfast Show' on Choice FM, London’s first urban radio station and has subsequently gone on to present shows on Smooth FM, LBC, BBC London and BBC Three Counties Radio.
Voice work varies from corporate videos to radio adverts and national television advertising campaigns. Her favourite voice overs to date include TV campaigns for ‘Snack-A-Jacks’ and 'Sunny D', voicing the Channel 4 programme ‘Bloody Women’ and The Jim Henson Company booking her for a character voice in CiTV’s animated series, ‘Construction Site'
Mellow Magic was nominated for a Sony Award and was up against BBC heavy weights like Johnny Walker and Dermot O’Leary. Dermot collects Gold much to the disappointment of Angie Greaves and Danny Pietroni. However, a smile was added to their faces as Dermot collects the award and his first words before even saying “thank you”, were “I’m quite surprised at this. I listen to Mellow Magic all the time, in fact I do my laundry to it”. Lovely piece of promotion!
