Jonathan has worked extensively on stage and television.  Having trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art he has appeared on stages up and down the country and the West End.

Most recently Jonathan starred in Richard O'Brien’s musical comedy, ‘The Stripper’, produced by ATG, where he played detective Al Wheeler in an homage to film noir, set in the early sixties.

He has also recently appeared in ‘Bones’ for 20th Century Fox and is soon to appear in ‘A Touch of Frost’.  Jonathan’s other notable TV appearances have included playing Joe Carter in ‘Coronation Street’ and roles in TV dramas including ‘Clocking Off’, ‘Bob And Rose’, ‘Fat Friends’, ‘Fugitives’ and ‘Are You Jim’s Wife’.

In 2009, Jonathan completed voicing his second series of the highly successful, ‘Ax Men’ for The History Channel.  His other voice over credits include radio plays, various documentaries for Sky, Biography Channel profiles, and promos & idents for Channel 4 and ITV.
