Katy Carmichael has been working in television, theatre and film for the last fifteen years in a variety of drama and comedy roles.

Television:  Her most notable profile role to date was as Lucy Barlow the bigamist florist in Coronation Street. She also played Twist in Spaced, DC McMullan in Liverpool One and more recently she played Justine Jensen in the last series of Cutting It. Other television work includes; Clocking Off, Hex, And the Beat Goes on, the Paul Merton/ Galton & Simpson series, The Infinite world of HG wells, Karaoke, Casualty and Bread.  Film: Dead Babies,Thursday Already, In the Bleak Midwinter and Bookcruncher.

Theatre: Played Opposite Steven Berkoff in Sturm und Drang & Brighton Beach Scumbags (Riverside), Tristan And Yseult (Kneehigh/ National Theatre World tour) The Fall Guy/ Count of Monte Cristo (Manchester Royal Exchange), Beaux Stratagem (Bristol Old Vic) Happy Valley (Liverpool Everyman)

She has voiced a range TV and radio commercials in a variety of accents including her native northern/Liverpool. She is a popular choice for children's television promos and was the voice for the Cadbury's Coronation Street idents.  She has performed a number of plays for Radio 4.
