Janis is originally from Upstate New York. In 2023 she will be seen as Carol in Renny Harlin’s Trilogy of films - The Strangers. Upcoming film roles include - Liz in Meet You in Scotland, Estelle Dewson in T.I.M, Susan Blake in No_Filter and Josephine Masters in The Toys that Built America for the History Channel. She will also been seen in the TV series Citadel as Dr Hudes alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
For her voice work - Janis is most known as the voice of Fage Yogurt’s “Nothing More, Nothing Less” campaign for which she voiced 22 national network TV Commercials for the USA. Recently credits include the role of Karen in a USA national network spot for LG and corporate work for clients such as Gucci as well as the role of The Therapist for Sweden’s Chroma Studios new Audio Drama Series.
A veteran of TV commercials worldwide - Janis can currently be seen in Brad Lubin’s hilarious IRN BRU advert ‘Prom’.
Janis worked for years in both New York City and Los Angeles in theatre, TV, film and TV adverts. She appeared in numerous USA National Network TV commercials for major brands such as Sudafed, Ikea, Lysol, AT&T, Schweppes, Miller Lite, Arrid Xtra Dry and Dreyfus.
