Karen Ascoe

Karen trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.  Her career as an actress and voice over artist has spanned TV, film, theatre, radio, musicals and commercials. Recent voice credits include TV campaigns for Hachette/Disney, TV documentaries (Witness to a Massacre - Nanjing 1937), video games - Spellforce 3, Watchdogs: Legion and audio books – Below the Green (children’s fantasy adventure series).

Karen’s theatre work has taken her all over the UK, and all over the world, as well as several West End shows and New York productions. Notable recent credits include Prospera (in an acclaimed open-air production of The Tempest), the UK presentation of the award-winning Broadway musical ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ and playing the misanthropic Patricia Highsmith in the powerful two-hander, ‘Switzerland’.

On TV Karen has appeared in numerous dramas and comedies: My Mad Fat Diary, Cuckoo, W1A, Coronation Street, The Sex Pistols vs Bill Grundy. Her most recent feature film, A Brixton Tale, is released this year.
