Katy is Liverpool born and bred with a full range of natural friendly Northern accents and a reassuring smooth RP. In 2020 she narrated TV documentaries Meat the Family (C4) and QE2 - The World Greatest Cruise Ship (C5). During her long career she has also voiced many adverts, corporates and character led audio books.
Katy is known best for roles such as Twist from the cult sitcom Spaced, Lucy Barlow in Coronation Street and for regular roles in Waterloo Road and Casualty. Other profile TV work includes Safe, The Miniaturist, Three Girls, Moving On, Mistresses, Liverpool One, Cutting It, Clocking Off, Hex, The Paul Merton series and The Infinite World of HG Wells.
Film appearances include Disney’s Christopher Robin, Misbehaviour and Martin Amis’s Dead Babies. She played opposite Steven Berkoff on the London stage, toured internationally with Kneehigh Theatre and performed leading roles at theatres throughout the UK. She's Artistic Director of Theatre Damfino and Table of Delights, whose award-wining productions have toured from Bristol Old Vic to New York.
