Born in Dublin of Dutch parents and living in London, Peter Vollebregt is a highly versatile actor who trained in drama at Trinity College Dublin. 

His theatre experience includes lead roles in all the major theatres in Ireland as well as productions from Sydney, Australia to London's West-End. He received particular critical acclaim as Brendan Barragh in 'A Manual of Trench Warfare' in Sydney, and as Juror No.8 in '12 Angry Men' in Dublin, a role for which he also won The Irish Press Best Actor Award.

Peter's TV & film work stretches over 30 years, more recently he has played lead and guest roles in Eastenders, Doctors, The Bill, Silent Witness, Hustle and New Tricks. His role as the Royal physician Dr Cohen in The Royals is ongoing.

Peter has a warm, versatile voice and can move easily from zany character to authoritative corporate reads. His strong aptitude for accents has been used extensively in radio drama, commercials and for computer games characters, and his long list of audio books have included James Bond titles for McMillan Publishers.
